We would be delighted to consider you for our editorial board. First established in 2014, Feminist Spaces is an independently published and designed international journal of women's, gender, and sexuality studies. We are deeply committed to uplifting the voices of people who have been marginalized and oppressed, and we aim to cultivate the ever-expanding intersectional discourse of gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, class, education, culture, ability, and religion.

Our editorial board consists of two positions: associate editors and managing editors. As an associate editor, you will be expected to participate in mandatory editorial meetings, review submissions for accuracy, clarity, and relevance to the journal, revise selected submissions for grammar and coherency, and promote the journal through social media such as email or Instagram. Managing editors handle all of these responsibilities as well as lead as an example to associate editors, interact closely with authors, artists, other university departments, and the journal’s design team, and create materials for advertising, social media, and editorial meetings; most of these responsibilities are completed during the spring and summer semesters.

 

We also accept interns and can provide a unique curriculum based on personal experience!
